Open source Monte-Carlo simulation developed by GEANT4 collaboration at CERN (founded in 1994 because of LHC)
This toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter. Its areas of application include high energy, nuclear and accelerator physics, as well as studies in medical and space science.
It is written in C++ allowing object-oriented design.
