Table of Contents
Asking for Directions
When you travel in Georgia, you will very often need to ask where something is and how to get there. In this chapter you will see simple, very high frequency patterns that you can reuse in many situations.
Key question patterns
The most common way to ask where something is:
sad aris ...?
โWhere is ...?โ
You can put almost any place word after แกแแ แแ แแก.
Examples:
sad aris tualeti?
Where is the toilet? -
sad aris metro-sadguri?
Where is the metro station? -
sad aris banki?
Where is the bank?
Another useful pattern:
rogor mivide ...-tan?
โHow can I get to ...?โ
You use this more when you want detailed instructions, not only location.
Examples:
rogor mivide aeroporttan?
How can I get to the airport? -
